Ms. Michelle Beaton - A little about me. I was born in Mt.Washington, Kentucky on May 4,
1970. I went to MWES, Mt.Washington Middle School and graduated
from Bullitt East in 1988. I then was able to travel the world for 15
years while I was a spouse in the US Army. After 17 years of marriage
I divorced and returned to Mt. Washington in 2007. That is when I
decided to go to college and earn my teaching degree, which I
completed in 2010. I have two daughters who mean the world to me. I
raised them as a single mom and am very proud of the women they have
become. Courtney is 23 and Cassie is 20. I am a very active person and
love to participate in almost any sports related activity. I love to travel
and see how people are so different around the world. My philosophy
in life is to live it as much as you can today, because you are not
guaranteed a tomorrow.
Ms. Heather Patterson - I am from Bullitt County. I graduated from Presentation High School and attended the University of Louisville. I have taught for three years at a private school in Louisville. This is my second year at Crossroads Elementary and my second year teaching third grade. I live in Shepherdsville with Jasmin, my puppy. I am excited to continue my journey at Crossroads Elementary.
Mrs. Kelly Siegel-I grew up in Louisville, while my husband, Justin, grew up outside of Chicago. In 2015
we moved to Mt. Washington. We have three year old twin daughters named Cecilia and Caroline and
also a shih tzu fur baby named Ella Mae. This will be my third year teaching and my second year at
Crossroads. I previously taught third grade in Jefferson County. I graduated from the University of
Louisville and am currently attending Bellarmine as part of the Bellarmine Literacy Project for my
Master’s degree. I am so excited for this school year and to be a part of your child’s life!
We are thrilled to be your teachers on this journey!
